Meet The Founders
Bruce Catanzaro, MBA, MHA – Chairman and CEO
AtlantiCare Nursing Services Inc. was founded on the same principles of integrity, dignity and respect that have guided our founder and CEO, Bruce Catanzaro. From graduate school, through his military service, and ultimately to launching the Nautilus Senior Home Care franchise, Bruce has been uncompromising in his passion for delivering the highest quality in-home care. Mr. Catanzaro studied at the prestigious London School of Economics and was a graduate from St. Louis University (Summa Cum Laude) with a master's in business administration and a second master's in health administration. Following graduate school, he entered the Unites States Air Force as a captain in the Medical Service Corps. One measure of his professional success is when he and his wife, Patty, opened AtlantiCare Nursing Services in 2002 and built it into the multi-million dollar in-home healthcare agency it is today.
Patty Catanzaro, RN – President
Patricia (Patty) Catanzaro is a registered nurse and has served seniors and their families throughout the United States for over 20 years. Shortly after receiving her nursing degree from Palm Beach State College, she joined her husband, Bruce, in St. Louis and worked as a Medsurg nurse at Missouri Baptist Hospital. Following that period, she furthered her career in the emergency room at Mass. General Hospital just outside of Boston. Having gained a reputation for excellence working with various East Coast hospitals in ER, ICU, PACU and endoscopy, Patty returned to Florida, and along with Bruce, she co-founded AtlantiCare Nursing Services. She has focused her skills in caring for aging adults, with a special attention to compassion and sensitivity to their unique needs. She is recognized as an expert in the field of private duty, in-home care. Patty is most proud of her 19-year marriage to Bruce and their three sons. Her favorite quote is "the man who gives little with a smile, gives more than the man who gives much with a frown".
